The PillCam is a miniature camera than can be swallowed with remarkable benefits for patients and doctors.

The PillCam can be swallowed the same way as someone would swallow a regular pill.  Once swallowed, the PillCam makes its way through the person system, spanning up to 8 hours. During this time, the camera takes two images every second — up to 50,000 images in total — of the person's esophagus, stomach, and intestines. These photos are used by doctors to help visually map a patient’s digestive system.
